Explore your potential.
A tree keeps its years in rings; a person carries a pattern as unique as a fingerprint. The Four Pillars is old Eastern wisdom for reading the cycles you live inside — seasons, markets, luck — and for finding a better you on the other side of them.

Questions people ask first
Is the BaZi calculator really free?
Yes. The chart is calculated by an open-source engine running in your browser. There is no account, no payment, and no limit on how many charts you make.
Do you store my birth date, time or birthplace?
No. The calculation runs locally in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Birth details are not saved, not put in the URL, and not written to local storage. Reloading the page clears them.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Tick “I don’t know my birth time”. The calculator will leave the Hour Pillar blank rather than guessing midnight or noon, and the result explains which parts of the chart are affected.
Why does the calculator ask for a birthplace?
BaZi hour pillars traditionally use true solar time. With a city (or coordinates) the engine corrects for longitude and the equation of time. Without coordinates it falls back to civil clock time and says so in the result.
Why might my chart differ from another website?
Different traditions disagree on a few rules: how the late Zi hour (23:00–23:59) is handled, whether true solar time is applied, and how precisely solar terms are calculated. This page shows every setting it used so you can compare, and the accuracy notes are published in the open.
Is BaZi a scientific prediction?
No. BaZi is a traditional Chinese system of symbolism. This site presents it for cultural learning and personal reflection, not as scientific prediction or as medical, legal, financial or relationship advice.
